ThermaQuote helps Australian homeowners make confident decisions about home-energy upgrades — heat pump hot water, rooftop solar and home batteries. We bring together what each upgrade costs, the rebates you can stack, and free quotes from accredited installers, so you can compare on the numbers that actually matter.
What we do
We publish plain-English cost guides, rebate explainers and local pricing for suburbs across Victoria (and, over time, the rest of Australia). When you're ready, we connect you with up to three accredited installers in your area who prepare quotes for your home. We are a referral service, not an installer — we don't sell, supply or fit any products, and any contract is strictly between you and the installer you choose.
How we make money
ThermaQuote is free for homeowners. We're paid a referral fee by the installers we connect you with — never by you, and never as a markup on your quote. We think being upfront about this matters: it means our job is to send installers genuinely-interested homeowners, which only works if the information here is accurate and useful to you first.
How we keep our figures current
Rebate amounts, eligibility rules and prices change often. So every rebate figure on the site carries a “last verified” date, and we link you to the issuing authority (Solar Victoria, the Victorian Energy Upgrades program and the Clean Energy Regulator) so you can confirm the current value yourself. We re-check the figures on a regular cycle and update the date when we do. We never guarantee eligibility — only the issuing authority can — and we always show pricing as a range, because your real cost depends on your property, product and installer.
